Public Symposium on Wintering Danaid Butterflies

The Public Symposium on Wintering Danaid Butterflies is organized by HKU's Danaid Butterfly Research Hong Kong, and joined by the Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve, Green Power, and Hong Kong Entomological Society. Through hosting talks given by groups working on the monitoring, research, and/or conservation of wintering danaid butterflies in Hong Kong, the symposium aims to hold conversations on danaid ecology and conservation, and to facilitate public participation in danaid conservation and research. There will also be a butterfly tagging workshop, a children's table, and a short film session by Daphne Wong that welcome members of the public from all age groups.
