Fung Shui Woods – Seminars and Roadshows for Secondary Schools

The UOW College Hong Kong has been provided with a grant by the Lantau Conservation Fund to undertake a project on the study of the biodiversity of Fung Shui Woods on Lantau Island and to conduct a series of educational activities to raise environmental awareness, nature appreciation, disseminate the findings of the biodiversity surveys and significance of Fung Shui Woods as a biocultural landscape to secondary schools.

The educational programme for each school consists of 2 elements:

  1. A talk to be given by our project staff at the school premises on the ecological aspects and cultural heritage of Fung Shui Woods of Lantau Island;
  2. A mini-exhibition/roadshow to be displayed on-site in the school premises for a period of 2 weeks.
