LCF Lantau Countryside Ecological and Cultural Education Programme - Lantau Ecological Education Activities for General Public (Theme: Ecology of Lantau Bird)

The Lantau Ecological Education Activities for General Public (Theme: Ecology of Lantau Bird) introduce the butterfly ecology and biodiversity in Lantau. Participants will first get to know the basic ecology and biodiversity of Hong Kong and Lantau through an online lecture. After the lecture, participants will be guided by trained tertiary students and Lantau residents to a field trip conducted in Pui O, which is a bird-watching hotspot in Lantau. Through the field trip, participants will further experience their learning from the lecture and raise their awareness on conservation of Lantau.
