The Lantau Ecological Education Activities for General Public (Theme: Ecology of Lantau Butterfly) introduce the butterfly ecology and biodiversity in Lantau. Participants will first get to know the basic ecology and biodiversity of Hong Kong and Lantau through an online lecture. After the lecture, participants will be guided by trained tertiary students and Lantau residents to a field trip conducted in Shui Hau, which is a butterfly hotspot in Lantau. Through the field trip, participants will further experience their learning from the lecture and raise their awareness on conservation of Lantau.
